Kappa Alpha Psi celebrates 30 years of achievement at California State University, Sacramento Kappa Alpha Psi, founded in 1911 by 10 African-American undergraduates at Indiana University, is an international fraternity open to college men regardless of their color, creed, or national origin. An organization with more than 100,000 undergraduate and alumni members worldwide, Kappa Alpha Psi encourages honorable achievement with a strong focus on education and community service. Approximately 200 young men have been initiated into the Iota Beta of Kappa Alpha Psi at Sacramento State. These brothers have established themselves as leaders on campus, including two Associated Students Incorporated (ASI) presidents. Upon earning their respective degrees, Iota Beta brothers have excelled in every field of human endeavor, including but not limited to business, education, engineering, law, medicine and religion. The Iota Beta Chapter invites civic leaders, faculty, staff, and friends to join the members of Kappa Alpha Psi in a celebration of 30 years of achievement in the classroom, the workforce and the community. |
