Kappa Alpha Psi is looking for mature, dedicated members with:
  • the disposition to live in close companionship with men of similar values;
  • the wisdom to abide by the will of the majority without sacrificing individuality;
  • the discretion to refrain from destructive criticism;
  • the acceptance of responsibility for any effort that advances the Fraternity;
  • the desire to strive for, and ultimately achieve, excellence in a field of human endeavor;
  • the commitment to train for leadership; and
  • the resolution to give lifelong financial support and commitment to the maintenance and development of the Fraternity's programs and purposes.
Membership selection is based upon criteria such as academic performance, campus involvement, and community involvement. Further details are available at informational meetings, where individuals can learn more about fraternity life in general and Kappa Alpha Psi specifically.

Policies regarding hazing

Hazing, as defined in California Penal Code §245.6, is a crime, and it is strictly prohibited by Kappa Alpha Psi. Refer to the following page for the fraternity's stance on hazing, as well as steps to take to report hazing:

Informational Meeting

The Iota Beta chapter will host an informational meeting for the Fall 2015 semester.
